Arsenal defender Cohen Bramall has joined Championship side Birmingham City on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old signed for Arsenal from non-league side Hednesford Town in January and went on to produce some encouraging performances for the Gunners at U23 level, earning him a place in the first-team squad for the pre-season tour of Australia and China.
With Bramall’s Arsenal contract set to expire next summer, this loan will provide the club with a useful gauge as to what level he’s at and will inform their decision regarding whether to offer him a new deal.
Right-back Carl Jenkinson will also be spending the season on loan at Birmingham.
Hopefully they will do well. Disappointed to hear Bennacer is off to Empoli on a permanent move, looked a good prospect.
Jeorge, have Birmingham paid a fee for Jenkinson and are Arsenal paying a percentage of his salary?
Also Jeorge, is the suggested transfer of Akpom a loan or a permanent deal?
