Tottenham scouts have regularly been watching Nottingham Forest striker Ben Brereton, according to The Mail.

The 18-year-old impressed in Nottingham Forest’s 4-2 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup on Sunday, scoring a penalty and holding his own against the Gunners’ defence.

The Mail claims Spurs have been watching Brereton since last season, before he broke into the first team at Forest.

Last summer, the teenager was the top scorer at the European Under-19 Championship, which England won.

Everton, Crystal Palace and Leicester are also said to be long-term admirers of Brereton, but no club has made a move for him yet – watch this space.
