Mauricio Pochettino has provided updates on four injured Tottenham players ahead of the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.

Hugo Lloris and Toby Alderweireld are set to undergo scans after picking up groin and hamstring injuries respectively in the win over Real Madrid on Wednesday.

France manager Didier Deschamps called Lloris’ injury a “torn abductor”, but Spurs have labelled it a groin strain. It’s unclear how long he will be out for.

Straight after Madrid, Alderweireld told reporters he will be out for a few weeks, but the scan will probably reveal a more accurate return date.

Meanwhile, Victor Wanyama is training alone and won’t be available for Palace.

Erik Lamela also isn’t ready, but Pochettino suggested he could return after the international break.
