Danny Rose has returned to training with Tottenham following a knee injury, but his long-term future with the club is still in doubt.

The defender gave a contentious interview in August in which he appeared to criticise the club’s transfer and wage policies.

Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with a move for Rose, and the Manchester Evening News believes Spurs have “dropped a huge transfer hint” regarding a potential deal. I’m not so sure…

The MEN believes the fact Tottenham have left Rose out of their 2018 calendar means the 27-year-old could be nearing the exit door.

While their logic is questionable, there’s good reason to believe Rose doesn’t have a future at Spurs.

Not many players have come back from disagreements with Mauricio Pochettino. The Tottenham boss has ousted a number of players with dubious attitudes in the past.

What do you think? Will Rose still be a Spurs player come the beginning of next season? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Yep, we will be just fine without him, Davies has come on massively and KWP is also a class player. £50m? Or £25m + Martial? Bye then.

  2. Dear o’ lor, talk about building a story on shaky foundations. MEN just do the bidding of Manure to stir things up. Meanwhile Carlos Kickaball (53 next July) the last signing under Alan Sugar’s chairmanship, is on record as saying that this means the transfer is now certain to go ahead and Manure expect Daniel Levy to pay for Danny Rose to play for Salford United.

  3. He is Not on the Calander because he was injured,so he could’nt take action pictures in the New Kit,we Should Keep him!!!!!!
