After being called up to play for the England Under-21s last week, I bet Harry Winks wasn’t expecting to make his debut for the senior team any time soon.

But that’s exactly what happened when Gareth Southgate selected the Tottenham midfielder for the Three Lions’ final World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.

Winks was only in the squad because of an injury to Fabian Delph, but the 21-year-old grabbed the opportunity with both hands and put in an impressive performance.

Harry Kane scored the winner from the penalty spot, but it was Winks who drew most of the plaudits.

Below you can watch every one of his touches from the game.
