Exclusive – Gaizka Mendieta tells Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea: Falcao would be Premier League hit

Gaizka Mendieta believes Radamel Falcao would be a huge hit in the Premier League and claims a move to England is a real possibility.

The Atletico Madrid striker has been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, but has also attracted the attentions of La Liga pair Real Madrid and Barcelona.

And Mendieta, who made the switch from Spain to England in 2003 when joining Middlesbrough, believes the Columbian could make a summer switch to the UK.

“Radamel Falcao would be fantastic in the Premier League,” Mendieta told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. “He’s up there with Robert Lewandowski as one of the best number nine's in Europe.

“Falcao wants to win titles and coming to England is definitely an option. If a club comes with a lot of money, then Atletico Madrid are willing to sell him.”
