Arsenal’s new club-record signing Alexande Lacazette was all smiles as he was unveiled to his new team-mates at the training ground.

The former Lyon striker - who signed a five-year contract for a £52million transfer fee - posed with his new manager Arsene Wenger in the obligatory contract signing photo, before donning Arsenal’s new Puma kit and showing off his skills.

The 26-year old also met two of his new team-mates including club captain Per Mertesacker, who dwarfed the 5ft 9in front-man.

The French international looks to have found an immediate friend in positional rival Danny Welbeck, with the pair grinning as they shook hands.

Lacazette, who scored 28 goals last season in Ligue 1, will know a fair few of the Arsenal squad from his time on international duty.

Compatriots Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud will be familiar faces around the dressing room, although there is speculation that Lacazette’s arrival could spell the end of the latter’s time in north London as Everton lead the race for his signature.
