Barnsley have signed highly-rated Leicester City midfielder Harvey Barnes on a season-long loan.
Barnes signed a new four-year deal with the Premier League side last month, at the end of a season which saw him make his senior debut in the Champions League.
The 19-year-old went on to spend the second half of the season playing in League One for MK Dons, where he scored six goals in 21 appearances.
Barnes, who is an England international at U18 and U20 levels, could make his Barnsley debut on Saturday when Paul Heckingbottom's side face Ipswich Town at Oakwell.
Heckingbottom said: "Harvey is a really talented young player and we are excited to see him come to Oakwell.
"I am really thankful to Craig Shakespeare and his team at Leicester for allowing him to join us on loan.
"Once Harvey knew we were interested and we had a chat, he knew he wanted to come here to further develop himself following a really impressive run of games over the last year and I want to see him now continue that with us."
