Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal remain in the top-four hunt but must "gamble" to win their remaining games.
Robert Huth's 86th-minute own goal gave Arsenal all three points against Leicester, keeping them in the hunt for the Champions League qualification spots.
They face Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Super Sunday, live on Sky Sports 1, and while Wenger believes they have picked up momentum in the last fortnight, he urged his side to take risks to maintain a late charge.
"We're in a positive mood to prepare well," Wenger told Sky Sports. "The target is clear for us, just go out and win the game.
"Of course, every win gives you a little momentum, so that's just going into the next game.
Wenger added in his post-match press conference: "Does it keep us in the race for the top four? Yes, we have one advantage and that is the advantage of clarity.
"We have to win our games and so that's why every time we cannot be happy with 0-0. We have absolutely to take the gamble to try to win the game at any cost."
Asked about who he wants to win the Manchester derby on Thursday night, live on Sky Sports, Wenger said: "No preference really, because compared to us maybe a draw is not a bad result, so let's see what happens.
"We don't have to look too much at the others, we just have to look at ourselves and try to win our games, and hope the results go for us in the end."
Leicester threw men forward in search of an equaliser late on and the tension almost spilled over when Christian Fuchs launched a throw-in directly at Alexis Sanchez's head.
The ball struck Sanchez on the shoulder but the striker, who had been standing immediately in front of Fuchs, made out as though it had struck him in the face. The Chilean was given a yellow card for not being the required two metres away.
"I think he didn't know he had to be further away," Wenger said. "He thought he was in the right position. After that he got a yellow card because he didn't respect the rule. I accept that."
Wenger also praised Arsenal's patience in picking up the late win, which leaves them four points off fourth place Man City, and six off third-place Liverpool. The Gunners do have two games in hand over Liverpool, however.
He said: "Leicester were hard to break down, we were patient and didn't give many chances away. It could have finished 0-0, but we had the initiative to our game and created some dangerous situations.
"We played extra-time on Sunday afternoon, and had to give everything. We were focused, serious, and had hunger to win the game. That's what we wanted."
When asked again if there was any news on his future, Wenger said: "No, sorry."
