Liverpool boosted their top-four bid with a 1-0 victory at West Brom - with Roberto Firmino scoring the only goal on the stroke of half-time - while that game was followed by United's win, thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera.
Chelsea now lead Tottenham by just four points, after Spurs kicked off the weekend with an impressive 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday. The two next face each other in the FA Cup semi-final next week.
