Man United star Romelu Lukaku dealing with ankle injury

Belgium have confirmed Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku injured his ankle against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The 24-year-old played all 90 minutes of the 4-0 win and scored his seventh Premier League goal of the season in the 86th minute.

Lukaku is currently with the Belgian squad ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday and Cyprus on Tuesday.

Belgium's medical staff have examined the injury and are not yet ruling him out of either match.

A statement from Belgium said: "Romelu Lukaku underwent an MRI scan but no fracture or structural damage has been diagnosed.

"The next days he will follow an individual training program. It is however too early to state that he won't be match fit for the Bosnia and/or Cyprus game."
