Musician Marcus Mumford reveals Jose Mourinho has agreed to play in the #Game4Grenfell. The Manchester United boss is promising something 'special'.

Jose Mourinho has signed up to take part in the #Game4Grenfell charity match at Loftus Road on Saturday.

The Manchester United boss will join Jamie Redknapp, Ally McCoist and Jarvis Cocker as part of an Alan Shearer side which will face Les Ferdinand's team in a match which will raise money for those affected by the devastating Grenfell Tower fire.

Marcus Mumford, who will captain Team Ferdinand, posted a video on the Mumford & Sons Twitter page to announce that Mourinho would be taking part, saying: "Ladies and gentlemen I have some huge transfer news ahead of Game 4 Grenfell at Loftus Road tomorrow.

"The great Jose Mourinho, resurrecting his professional career, has just signed for Team Shearer."

Asked what kind of shape he is in, Mourinho said: "The best, the best shape of my life," and when asked how much he thought he was worth in today's transfer market, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss added: "I don't accept if it is not £1 more than Neymar."

When asked if spectators could expect to see something special from the self-proclaimed Special One, the Man Utd boss said: "For sure, for good or for bad, but special for sure."

Saturday's game is live on Sky 1 from 2pm and will be attended by over 2,000 people directly affected by the Grenfell tragedy.
