Out-spoken Londoner Ohara Davies received a now familiar warm welcome on Merseyside ahead of facing local favourite Tom Farrell. Davies was on the super-lightweight limit of 140lbs, with Farrell weighing 9st 13lbs 5oz.
Olympic stars Anthony Fowler and Natasha Jonas are also in action. Former Team GB captain, super-welterweight Fowler (11st 2lbs 7oz) goes in with Jay Byrne (11st 2lbs 1oz) over six rounds.
Jonas (9st 5lbs 8oz), one of the stars of London 2012, makes her second professional appearance against Bojana Libszewska (9st 5lbs 3oz).
