Davies stopped Merseysider Derry Mathews in March and believes more fighters from the city will line up to face him after he ends Farrell's unbeaten record in front of his hometown fans.

Anyone from Liverpool can get whooped. They brought Derry Mathews, now Tom Farrell is going to get whooped, so I'm just waiting see who they are going to bring next.

"After I beat Farrell, they are still going to look for another person," Davies told Sky Sports. "They're going to bring a Robbie Davies Jr or someone else from their town that they are going to say will beat me, because it's not hidden that the city doesn't like me. Every time I've gone there, I get boos.

"It doesn't matter what you say on the outside, there is fear in your eyes - I can see it. He tried to hide it by being a bit loud, but I know he's scared and he knows what will be coming to him."

"No disrespect to whoever is on the main event, but I'm the real main event. Most of the tickets on that show have been sold because of me.

"Tom Farrell sold thousands and thousands of tickets because of me. They are not coming to see him, they are coming to see him because he is up against me."
