It is undoubtedly the game of the weekend, and Arsenal's players looked in good spirits as they prepared for their trip to west London to face Chelsea on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger's men might have a poor record in recent Premier League away games against fellow top six sides, but back-to-back wins against Bournemouth and Cologne will at least let them travel with confidence.

And the Gunners seemed to be in a focused mood in their final training session before the game.

1. Arsene Wenger was going to great lengths to make sure his players don't get demoralised if Chelsea dominate possession

"Don't worry if you lose it, lads. Just have another ball. And another. And another..." (

2. Jack Wilshere - who is definitely *not* a handsomely paid training cone these days - was sporting a severe new haircut, and his teammates weren't sure about it

"Must. Not. Mention. Phil. Mitchell." (

3. Given how good Alvaro Morata has been in the air lately, Wenger was giving his men some specific instructions

"Come on, up! Higher!" (

4. After his midweek Europa League goal, it was good to see that Alexis Sanchez was still focused

"Right, now pretend the ball is Wenger's head" (

5. Even if his teammates still aren't letting him forget about wanting to leave

"For the last time, you should have SEEN the amount of money they were offering!" (

6. Petr Cech looked ready to face his former club

"For the love of God lads, you'd better not embarrass me" (

7. Wenger, meanwhile, was starting to regret giving them so many balls to train with

"Right, that's Theo's shooting practice done. Try not to aim for me next time, eh mate?" (
