West Brom have made a late move to beat Watford to the signing of Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs.

The Hornets have had a £7million bid accepted for the England left-back, who is yet to feature so far this season.

But the Baggies have come back to the table after having an offer knocked back by the Gunners earlier this summer.

Gibbs is third choice at Arsenal behind new left-back Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal and has less than 12 months remaining on his deal.

The 27-year-old came through the ranks at the Emirates, making more than 200 appearances for the north Londoners.

However, he has been deemed surplus to requirements by Arsene Wenger and is expected to move on before Thursday's deadline.
