Another weekend of Premier League action is in the book and that means we are even closer to the summer transfer window.

Manchester United and Manchester City both dropped points in the hunt for the top four, while Arsenal's defeat at bitter rivals Tottenham means they will definitely finish behind Spurs this season.

And that means they will be looking towards the window in order to redress the balance in north London.

But will it be Arsene Wenger entrusted with attracting another crop of stars to the Emirates?

Premier League duo in for Galatasaray man

Southampton and Leicester are competing to sign Galatasaray winger Bruma.

Portugal Under-21 ace Bruma, who has scored eight goals and made another six this season, has also been scouted by Tottenham.

The 22-year-old’s agent Ibrahim Polat said: “Southampton and Leicester City have registered an interest and we have held talks.

“Bruma is keen on the Premier League and we will be holding further talks.”

Kyle Walker "wants to leave Tottenham"

Kyle Walker has had a row with Mauricio Pochettino and wants to leave Tottenham this summer.

The right back was on the bench against Arsenal with Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City monitoring him, according to the Independent.

Spurs would want at least £35m for the England man.

Sheffield Wednesday head the list of suitors for Sam Hughes

Chester defender Sam Hughes has plenty of suitors in the Championship - with Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Derby all keen on his signature.

Barnsley had a £75,000 bid for the 20-year-old in January.

But the Daily Mail are reporting a summer hunt for the highly rated youngster.

Hernandez signs Atleti extension

Lucas Hernandez has committed his future to Atletico Madrid.

Hernandez, who has been linked with Manchester United, has penned fresh terms at the Calderon until 2022.

He called Atletico ‘the club of my life’.

United 'take lead in Schmeichel chase'

Manchester United have taken the lead in the race for Kasper Schmeichel.

That is according to Sky Sports, who say the Red Devils have stolen the initiative from their rivals in the hunt for the goalkeeper.

United will look to replace David De Gea with the Leicester keeper if the Spaniard moves to Real Madrid.

Inter to battle United for Lindelof?

Inter Milan will battle Manchester United for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof in the summer.

That is according to Portuguese paper Record, who say the Serie A giants have firmed up their interest in the centre-half.

United are keen to add him, and PSG’s Marquinhos, to their backline.

Lukaku to return to Chelsea?

Romelu Lukaku seemed in good spirits despite Everton’s 3-0 defeat by Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday.

The Belgian was filmed chatting and joking with Blues technical director Michael Emenalo as talk of a potential switch back to Stamford Bridge hots up.

Premier League top scorer Lukaku has rejected the most lucrative contract in Toffees history as he eyes a move away from Merseyside to play in the Champions League.

Emenalo has a prominent role in transfers at the Bridge and the pair were in deep conversation following the match.

Liverpool transfer round-up

Lucas Leiva’s potential move to Turkish giants Galatasaray has hit the rocks due to the midfielder’s wage demands.

The longest serving current Liverpool player wants to continue on an identical £80,000-a-week deal to the one he is on at Anfield plus a £1.5m signing on fee, according to Fotospor .

Leiva recently celebrated his 10th anniversary on Merseyside but his deal is up at the end of the season.

The Brazilian’s agent apparently travelled to Turkey last week to try and hack out a deal but couldn’t come close to an agreement.

Karim Benzema has alerted Arsenal after the Real Madrid striker told his agent he is keen for a move.

France international Benzema would cost the Gunners around £50m but face competition from Manchester United - who are looking to replace injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The front man has only netted 15 times this season to regularly receive boos from the Bernabeu crowds - despite boss Zinedine Zidane claiming he brings more than goals, claims the Daily Express, via Don Balon .

The Gunners are looking to completely rebuild their squad this summer after a disappointing season which could force them to miss out on Champions League football.

Manchester United transfer round-up

A change of agent for Kasper Schmeichel could put Manchester United in the box seat for his services next season.

Jose Mourinho will be in need of a new first-choice keeper is David de Gea makes a move to Real Madrid, as has been repeatedly speculated.

A battle between Man City and Man United is what The Sun are expecting now the Leicester stopper as joined Italian Luca Bascherini after parting ways with long-term adviser Kenny Shepherd.

Bascherini is tight with those at the top at United, points out the paper.

Sergio Romero has reportedly bought a house in Milan, reinforcing rumours that he may make a summer switch to Inter Milan.

The back-up to David de Gea at Manchester United, Romero could take up the same role behind Samir Handanovic in the pecking order at the San Siro.

That’s what Mediaset Premium reports, despite the goalkeeper being contracted until 2019 at Old Trafford.

Argentine Romero arrived from Sampdoria on a free transfer in 2015.

AC Milan is also said to be interested in 30-year-old Romero, where he would be on the bench for Gianluigi Donnarumma.

United join Sessegnon race

Manchester United are trying to jump to the front of the queue of clubs chasing Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon.

The Old Trafford giants have become the latest top side to enquire about the 16-year-old left-back, who is regarded as one of the top prospects in the country.

Liverpool are well-established admirers and are trying to sign Sessegnon this summer, but they will face major competition.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham are also in the hunt for the teenager, who has been compared to Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale at the same age and, like the Welsh superstar, could also end up playing further forward.

Fulham have rebuffed offers from the Gunners for the player in the past and a loan-back option could appeal to the Championship club, who have secured their place in the promotion play-offs with one game to go in the regular season.

Liverpool are also in the market for a left-back in the summer, but Sessegnon may be seen as a long-term signing.
