Real Madrid are reportedly plotting a January move for AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci .

The Italian only joined the Serie A giants in the summer from Juventus, but could be on the move again.

According to reports in Spain, Milan are in need of funds and could look to sell the decorated centre back.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane is currently without Sergio Ramos who injured his face, and his side struggled in defence against Malaga on Saturday before winning 3-2.

Raphael Varane has established himself in the back four but outside of those two, Zidane has few options.

And Bonucci could be the answer to the La Liga side's problems.
