Ian Wright has blasted Arsenal's 'incompetent' chief negotiator Dick Law and says it is right that he should leave at the end of the season.

Former Gunners striker Wright suggested Law was to blame for Arsenal's failure to sign Luis Suarez and said he almost cost them Mesut Ozil before the German's arrival in 2013.

But it now seems that Law's time at the Emirates has come to an end.

“You talk about those people [Suarez, Higuain, Kante], I’m hearing that Dick Law is going to leave at the end of the season and rightly so," Wright said on BT Sport.

“I’m hearing things like he was the one [who messed up] with Suarez. He was the one – with Ozil – who missed the plane. This is somebody who is trying to bring in recruitment to make the club better. That’s the incompetence we’re dealing with.

“How can £40,000,001 for Suarez – who went to Barcelona for £75m and made them better – get through the different levels of management? For that to come out into the public domain? There’s massive problems at Arsenal at the moment.”
