The player's agent has confirmed Premier League clubs are interested in him.

Konate, 22, has scored 21 goals in 35 appearances for his current club.

Wenger: We dominated against Leicester

Arsene Wenger felt his Arsenal side 'dominated' at the King Power Stadium, as they beat Leicester 5-2, writes MirrorFootball 's James Whaling.

The Gunners had to come from a goal down after Jamie Vardy had put the Foxes ahead, but Theo Walcott leveled the scores.

Alexis Sanchez scored the first of his three goals to put them ahead before the break, and completed his hat-trick to make the game safe in the second period.

Vardy netted his second to make it 4-2 with a minute to go, before Olivier Giroud put the cherry on the top in stoppage time.

Wenger told the BBC : "We created many chances and I felt a game like this confidence was coming. I think we always looked dangerous.

"We managed to come back from 2-1 and after that I feel we dominated the game .

"Alexis was waiting for a goal and he's not used to not scoring for so long so it was important for him to score."

Sanchez's return to form makes Gunners contenders

With stunning efficiency and ruthless finishing, Arsenal announced their entry into the race for the crown that Arsene Wenger craves above every other trophy, writes MirrorFootball 's Steve Stammers.

A hat-trick from Alexis Sanchez and two opportunist strikes from Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud not only inflicted the first defeat of the season on Leicester.

As Manchester City continue to implode, Arsenal are now poised to take advantage of the ever-shrinking gap at the top of the table.

And that makes the head-to-head with new leaders Manchester United at the Emirates a mouth-watering prospect.

A win then will confirm that Wenger’s men are the real deal. They certainly looked it at the King Power stadium.

Byram to hold Leeds talks

Gunners target Sam Byram will hold talks with Leeds over a contract renewal, the Daily Star report.

The 22-year-old's current Elland Road deal expires at the end of the season and he is wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton.

"We will see where we are at that moment in time," Leeds manager Uwe Rosler said. "When you speak to a player in private, it stays private.

"The player has to trust me. Obviously I'm searching for feedback and the player has to have the confidence to give me honest feedback. That is where we are."
