Wojciech Szczesny was sent to the Serie A as an Arsenal cast-off but he's become a man in demand.

The keeper deemed surplus to requirements by Arsene Wenger is weighing up staying at Roma or a move to fellow Italian giants Juventus.

Despite reports that the Polish shot-stopper wants to remain in the capital, Tuttosport claim Juve CEO Giuseppe Marotta reckons he's got his man.

"Marotta has the Arsenal goalkeeper in hand, ready to take on Gianluigi Buffon’s mantle," says the paper.

Olivier Giroud hints at Arsenal exit with ultimatum to Arsene Wenger after limited role this season

Olivier Giroud has warned he will not tolerate another season sitting on the Arsenal bench.

The France forward signed a new contract until 2020 this season and started only 11 Premier League games in the last campaign as Alexis Sanchez was deployed as centre-forward.

Arsene Wenger is looking to further strengthen the striking department this summer.

And speaking before Les Bleus World Cup qualifier against Sweden, Giroud said: “I will put up with the transfer market. I will discuss with the coach but he is relying on me.

“It is true that I have had limited playing time but it was for a certain amount of time, it is true there were things against me. I will not settle for another year with such little playing time.

Arsenal have been quick off the mark in this summer, confirming the arrival of Schalke and Bosnia left-back Sead Kolasinac on Tuesday.

But he has been left under no illusions this summer must be different, with chief executive Ivan Gazidis and the club's hierarchy trying to push through early signings so they are well prepared for the start of next season.

Arsenal are desperate to shake up their squad. They have got a strong list of summer targets and Wenger's able to spend well in excess of £150m if he can also move out some players.

Arsenal new boy Sead Kolasinac is strong, quick and intelligent

Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of Sead Kolasinac, the Bosnian international defender.

Kolasinac will begin pre-season with the Gunners after agreeing to a move to the Emirates on a free transfer from German club Schalke.

The 23-year-old arrives with a growing reputation and is expected to be Arsenal's first-choice left-back next term.
