Referee Bobby Madley was forced off during the first half of the early Premier League kick-off between Stoke and Leicester.

The official limped out of the clash during the first half with a calf injury and took his place in the dugout as the fourth official.

Jon Moss, who was originally the extra official, replaced him in the middle to oversee the rest of the match.

The game was scoreless when Madley was replaced, but visitors Leicester hit the front just after the hour mark.

Zherdan Shaqiri levelled for Stoke before the break.
