Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah were both at the double for Jurgen Klopp's men, with Philippe Coutinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold also on target.
In truth, 7-0 flattered Maribor who simply couldn't live with their opponents.
