John Terry has only just called time on his Chelsea career and penned an emotional love letter to the fans , but he may already have lined up his next gig.
In the letter, Terry confirmed that he's not quite ready to hang up his boots just yet.
He said: "I feel I still have regular football in me but understand that opportunities here at Chelsea will be limited, it is therefore time for a new challenge."
And it turns out that the new challenge might just be as one of the burgeoning contingent of former Premier Leaue stars trying their luck in the Chinese Super League.
At least if old team-mate John Obi Mikel is to be believed.
The Nigerian international is currently on the books with CSL team Tianjin TEDA and posted a cryptic message in tribute to the outgoing Chelsea captain that suggested the two could soon be united.
"It was a privilege to play with you and learn from you. Not only a Chelsea legend, but a true football legend and a brilliant captain," he wrote on Instagram.
"Good luck Old Boy #neighbour ;)"
While Terry is sure to be inundated with offers, it remains to be seen what the 36-year-old's immediate plans are.
