Ian Wright has suggested that Sadio Mane is jealous of his Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah.

The Arsenal legend believes the Senegalese has looked a "little bit perturbed" in recent weeks as Salah's form has continually improved.

He claims that Mane will be feeling frustrated that he has so much competition for a place in the team, because of the Egyptian.

Especially as he was Liverpool's star man last season, and was massively missed by the team when he left for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Explaining his point, he added: "He just looks a little bit perturbed by it.

"Mo Salah has come in and - remember when Mane went to the Africa Cup of Nations and everyone was like 'oh it's over now, we can't replace Mane'?

"And now they've got Salah and he's been on the bench."

Jurgen Klopp has been rotating his Liverpool side regularly over the past few weeks to lessen the chance of injuries.

Last time out against Bournemouth it was Mane's turn to take to the bench as Salah led the line and got on the scoresheet in the 4-0 win.
