At the age of 24, Romelu Lukaku has already played for four Premier League clubs and become the division's most expensive striker.

Chelsea snapped up the Belgium striker from Anderlecht, but a season later he was loaned out to West Brom without having scored a single goal.

Lukaku scored an impressive 17 goals for the Baggies before returning back to Stamford Bridge.

The striker failed to score in three games for Chelsea the following season before again being loaned out, this time to Everton.

Again, Lukaku impressed away from Chelsea, netting 16 goals for the Toffees. Everton acted quickly and snapped the striker up for £28million on a permanent deal in 2014.

Of course, football fans all know what came to be as Lukaku switched Goodison Park for Old Trafford for £75million in the summer.

And despite a recent lack of goals, life has started well for Lukaku at his new club - having scored 12 goals in his first 21 appearances.

Chelsea did come close to capturing the striker in the summer, but fans will be forever wondering what if.
