Ian Wright has urged former boss Arsene Wenger to quit in a desperate rant.

The former Gunners star was speaking on BBC 5 Live following Arsenal's 4-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge all scored as Arsenal failed to register a single shot on target.

After months of speculation, Wenger decided to stay at Arsenal by signing a new two-year deal in the summer.

However, with just one win three games into the new season, Wright is already calling for the Frenchman to quit.

"Where do we start?" began Wright. "The amount of things that are going wrong, it does come back to Arsene Wenger's door.

"We are three games in and we're literally at crisis point. We're losing players.

"People are talking about, 'Oh the Ox opening the door for Draxler'. Why would Draxler sign?

"When you say, 'do I think he should go?'

"I would like to see him go simply because I do not believe now that Arsene Wenger can motivate those players with everything that's going on above him, and the way the players are performing on the pitch, for him to turn this around, for himself, for his own sanity.

"We are three games in and it's already an absolute nightmare. Where does he go from here?"
