Oscar's move from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG is a 'surprise' for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger .

The former Chelsea star has penned terms reportedly worth £400,000-per-week with the Blues receiving a fee worth around £60million.

And Wenger analysed the Brazilian's situation, labelling the move a 'distortion' on the market.

“It’s a surprise, a distortion," Wenger said. "When you're a football player you want to combine quality of competition with the quality of your wages.

“It’s a surprise to me but when I was in Japan they had many Brazilian players like Leonardo, Jorginho and Dunga. The competition was well organised.

“At the moment I think Oscar moves because he doesn't play - China gives him that opportunity and they invest a lot of money to create a big force.

“It could become a problem in future for the Premier League.”
