Referee Andre Marriner delivered one of the biggest gaffes of the season last term when he sent off Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs against Chelsea - despite Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain committing the offence.

And the Gunners pair have now brilliantly exacted revenge, through the medium of the Ice Bucket Challenge.

The craze has swept across the world in recent weeks with footballers, film stars and presidents all getting involved.

But Marriner looks set to be the first official to take a soaking after the cheeky nomination.

Revenge is a dish best served cold...icily cold.
