SEAN Dyche has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award for October.
The Clarets chief secured seven points from a possible 12 during the month, with wins over at Everton and Newcastle and a draw against West Ham, while the only defeat came at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Dyche is one of four bosses nominated and he is up against City supremo Pep Guardiola, whose side won all three of their league outings during October, Arsene Wenger, who took nine points from 12 for Arsenal, and Tottenham chief Mauricio Pochettino whose record during the month reads two wins and a defeat.
Clarets fans can have their say as well, with the manager of the month award influence by a public vote on sponsors' Barclays Facebook page, with the result of that then combined with the thoughts of an expert panel.
The vote will stay open until 11.59pm on Monday night and the winner will be announced next Friday (November 10).
