Southampton striker Charlie Austin facing two months out with hamstring tear
Manager Mauricio Pellegrino has confirmed that his top scorer will be sidelined for some time
Charlie Austin faces two months or more on the sidelines with a suspected torn hamstring.
Austin headed in Southampton's opener against Huddersfield last weekend but limped off with 11 minutes to go. The forward has scored six goals this season, including five in his last seven Premier League games.
Austin had already received a three-match ban for a kick on Terriers goalkeeper Jonas Lossl's face but manager Mauricio Pellegrino has confirmed that his top scorer will be sidelined for a lot longer than that.

"We will see but I expect Charlie will be out for a couple of months, minimum. It is a big pity because Charlie was in a really good moment."
