Claude Puel content with Iheanacho’s attitude in FA Cup win

The Foxes progressed to the FA Cup fourth round and the former Southampton manager was extremely encouraged by the forward’s display

Claude Puel was delighted with the attitude Kelechi Iheanacho showed in Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat of Fleetwood Town.

The striker put on a show against the Cod Army at King Power Stadium, getting on the scoresheet twice.

And the Frenchman got his wish for a more proficient display as the Foxes sealed their place in the Fourth Round of the competition.

“Kelechi [Iheanacho] showed a good attitude, worked hard for his teammates and got between the lines,” Puel after the game.
