David Moyes and Sam Allardyce are both nearing a return to the Premier League

David Moyes is set to be announced as the new West Ham manager after Slaven Bilic was sacked yesterday.

The former Everton, and Sunderland boss faces a huge battle to win over fans with the club currently 18th in the Premier League.

The Sun report that Moyes will look to bring in former Hammers defender Stuart Pearce as his assistant in an effort to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, Everton have turned to ex-England boss Sam Allardyce as a replacement for Ronald Koeman.

Caretaker manager David Unsworth earned his first win in charge of the Toffees last weekend, but Allardyce is said to have held talks with the board over the vacant role.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have been rocked by the resignation of technical director Michael Emenalo yesterday.

Manager Antonio Conte’s position at Stamford Bridge has been strengthened with the departure of Roman Abramovich’s right-hand man, with Emenalo claiming he would like to spend more time with his family.

Finally, Manchester City are furious with Arsene Wenger after the Arsenal boss accused Raheem Sterling of diving on Sunday.

Sterling won a penalty going to ground after Nacho Monreal’s tackle, and Pep Guardiola is not happy with Wenger for his comments about the winger.
