Rafinha, 32, was heavily linked with a last minute move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Antonio Conte was keen to sign a right-back to provide healthy competition for Victor Moses.

The boss ended up signing Davide Zappacosta on deadline day from Torino in a £23million deal.

However, Rafinha opted against a move abroad as he looked set for a more prominent role in Bayern starting XI following the retirement of Philipp Lahm.

But he has been playing second fiddle to Joshua Kimmich so far this season.

And in an interview with German outlet Bild he revealed he was the subject of Premier League interest.

He also warned  that he needs to play regularly or he will consider his future away from the club.

"I already had offers from England and Spain before this season. The responsible persons know this," he told Bild.

"But they can always rely on me. Bayern is in my heart, I always give 100 per cent.

"That’s why I think responsible people understand that I want to play, but I also have to think about my future."

He has secured more game time so far this season due to filling the void left by the injured David Alaba at left-back.

But he admitted he would much prefer to be playing on the opposite flank.

"Everyone knows I’d rather play right-back, that’s my position," he added.

"I have been playing with Philipp Lahm for six years and I have often had to sit on the bench.

"Do not get me wrong, Joshua Kimmich is a super boy, but I also want to play. I also have to think about my future."
