Manchester United have not been afraid to splash the cash since Jose Mourinho took charge at Old Trafford last summer.

The Portuguese already has Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan at his disposal in attack.

And according to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho could soon have two more world-class players to call upon.

The report says United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is already plotting summer raids for Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale.

The Red Devils are reportedly riding the crest of a wave in terms of shirt sales and revenue generated from their big-name players.

The likes of Pogba, Lukaku and Mkhitaryan are pulling in the punters which has given Woodward renewed vigour in the transfer market.

The United chief can now reportedly justify the huge outlay needed to bring players like Griezmann and Bale to Old Trafford.

And he will reportedly not hesitate and has a plan in place to do so.

The Daily Star have claimed this week United have already set aside the No 7 short for Griezmann.

And they are reportedly willing to pay around £100million for the Atletico Madrid striker.

Bale is likely to command a similar fee, taking their total spend to somewhere close to the £200m mark.

Griezmann and Bale are both tied down to their current clubs until June 2022.
