Griezmann was top of Manchester United's transfer target this this summer but the Frenchman chose to stay considering Aletico Madrid remain under a transfer ban.
But the 26-year-old took to Twitter on Saturday after United's 4-0 win over Swansea and posted a very cryptic message.
It included an angry emoji face with two 'call me' emojis, sending Old Trafford supporters into a frenzy.
One fan wrote: "It can still happen transfer window not closed yet just hand in a transfer request."
