ALEXIS SANCHEZ is set to stay at Arsenal but the Gunners could still lose midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in this transfer window.

Sanchez and Oxlade-Chamberlain are in a similar position at Arsenal, with both of their contracts running out at the end of this season.

Manager Arsene Wenger has repeatedly said the Chile forward is not for sale, with Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich showing interest throughout the summer.

Despite the possibility of letting the 28-year-old leave for free, Arsenal and Wenger are standing firm with their stance.

“Arsenal are refusing to let him go, Arsene Wenger says the decision has been made, he’s staying,” Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solehkol said.

However, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s future looks less clear, with Premier League rivals Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City still keen on the England man.

The 23-year-old has failed to nail down a starting spot at the Emirates since joining from Southampton six years ago.

Arsenal once again do not want to sell but Oxlade-Chamberlain is not as key as Sanchez is in Wenger’s side, raising the possibility of his departure.

“So it looks like Sanchez is staying, what about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?” Solhekol added.

“Similar situation there, he’s just got 12 months left on his contract as well.
