Premier League table 2017/18: Football Manager predicts Man City will pip Chelsea to title

MANCHESTER CITY will win the Premier League this season – according to Football Manager.

Arsenal will kick-off the new Premier League campaign on Friday when they host Leicester City at the Emirates.

Many pundits are tipping Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City to have strong seasons, but it's really difficult to predict who will take the title.

So the Daily Mirror have simulated the 2017/18 season on Football Manager to predict how the campaign will play out – but it's not great reading for Chelsea.

Antonio Conte's title defence looks like it in tatters while Pep Guardiola's summer spending will pay off for Manchester City.

The Etihad side are predicted to secure 84 points to be crowned champions.

However, the season will end in heartbreak for Premier League new boys Huddersfield who are tipped to finish rock bottom.
