MANCHESTER UNITED’s Marouane Fellaini is on Galatasaray’s radar, according to reports.

Manchester United are working on their own transfer deals this summer but could decide to sell Fellaini to raise funds and free up space in the squad for new recruits - one of which could be Chelsea's Nemanja Matic.

Fellaini played an increasingly regular role under United manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford last season.

In January he signed a contract extension at the club until 2018.

But United could decide to cash in on the Belgium international this summer following Gala’s interest.

According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Galatasaray ‘continue to work on the transfer’ for Fellaini.

Gala’s technical director Igor Tudor is said to be the man working on the deal.

Were a move to go through it would likely aid United’s chase for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.

Chelsea are ready to sell Matic and United are willing to pay £40million for the Serbia international.

Inter Milan and Juventus have also been linked with the player but he supposedly wants a reunion with his former manager Mourinho.

Mourinho has bemoaned his club’s lack of progress in the transfer market and wants a midfielder and winger installed before the end of the transfer window.

Inter’s Ivan Perisic remains another target.
