Manchester United reportedly want to sign Emil Forsberg
Manchester United are keen to sign a winger this summer, with Perisic their top target.
But Inter Milan’s refusal to sell for anything less than £48million has forced United to draw up contingency plans.
That is according to Italian outlet Calcaiomercato, who claim Forsberg has been earmarked as a viable alternative to Croatian Perisic.
Forsberg impressed at RB Leipzig last season, scoring eight goals for the Bundesliga side.
The Sweden international was linked with Arsenal and Bayern Munich back in May but no deal materialised.

United manager Jose Mourinho has already said he wants at least two more new players before the start of the season.
The Red Devils have had two bids for Perisic - their No 1 target - rejected by a determined Inter.
The San Siro club want £48million for Perisic, while Calciomercato claim Forsberg is available for £44.7m.
They claim United have contacted the player’s agent to ascertain whether or not he would be keen on a move to Old Trafford.

However, it is added that the move may also be a tactic to scare Inter into lowering their price for Perisic.
The 28-year-old is said to be keen on a switch to United but will not instigate proceedings by handing in a transfer request.
As for Leipzig, they want to retain their top stars ahead of an assault on the Bundesliga title this season.
The club have already rejected Liverpool’s £66m bid for Naby Keita.
