Gedion Zelalem is ecpetced to feature against the MLS All-Stars
The Arsenal youngster spent last season on loan at Rangers and gained valuable experience with Mark Warburton’s side.
However the 19-year-old failed to score in 28 appearances for the Scottish club.
But Arsenal boss Wenger believes the youngster, who is expected to be given first-team opportunities during pre-season, will eventually be seen as a great player.
"I think he’s a player who has quality, top quality," Wenger said.
“He might be a bit longer to mature because he is a little bit behind on the body structure.
“But I’m sure he will be a great player who matures maybe a bit slowly physically.
“But overall, I’m convinced that he’ll have a great career.
“Will he play [on Thursday]? Certainly [he’ll be] part of the game.”
