That’s the opinion of Paul Mariner who believes the Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea men are all better than the Belgian.

Lukaku currently leads the race for the Golden Boot with seven goals to his name, one more than his three rivals.

But Mariner thinks Aguero, Morata and Kane all hold up the ball better than the former Everton hitman.

“If you think about a No 9 and what his role is, I just think the three lads that I picked, Morata, Kane and Aguero, I just think their hold-up play is better,” he said on ESPN FC.

“There’s no doubts that Lukaku is going to score a lot of goals with the service that comes into the box.

“But I don’t think he is as clinical a finisher as the other three lads.”

Mariner picked Aguero as his top striker and believes he is absolutely one of the best in the world.

“I think what he’s done this season is I think he’s added to his game,” Mariner added.

“His ratio from chances to goals is very, very high.

“What he’s also added is that he’s added link-up play to that and some play where he’s a little unselfish.

“I just feel he is one of the best in the world.”

Lukaku is currently on international duty with Belgium as the Premier League takes a two week break.

When the top flight returns United face arch rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
