That is the verdict of countryman and Bournemouth forward Jermain Defoe.

Rashford was expected to play second fiddle to the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial at Manchester United this season.

But the youngster has flourished in their company and is in an impressive vein of form.

And Defoe has nothing but praise for the 19-year-old.

"He's unbelievable. The sky is the limit for him," the striker told the Daily Mail.

"Before games he is calm and relaxed and then goes out and produces.

"It's only a matter of time before he starts scoring 20-25 goals a season."

Rashford is one of many forwards lighting up the Premier League this term.

Alvaro Morata, Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and United's Lukaku have all started the season in blistering form.

However, Defoe admits the Man City forward is the pick of the bunch.

"If I had to pick one of those strikers, it would be Aguero," he said.

"He's just unbelievable. Champions League? He'll do it. Tournaments? He'll do it."

Asked whether he believed Rashford would one day be able to hit the heights of the Argentinian, Defoe was in no doubt.

"I think so, once he has that first season when he's scored 20 goals," he responded.

"You've already seen how he's scored a few goals and looks confident with his finishing now."

Rashford and his team-mates welcome struggling Crystal Palace to Old Trafford today (3pm).
