The Blues were successful in bringing in Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero earlier in the summer.

Davide Zappacosta was secured on deadline day, with a deal for Danny Drinkwater still pending an announcement.

However, Antonio Conte had a lot of other targets who ended up rejecting the chance to join the champions and play at Stamford Bridge.
