That's according to European football expert Gabriele Marcotti.

The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for RB Leipzig star Keita, 22.

The midfielder is said to be keen on a move to Anfield and has had his head turned by Liverpool.

Reds star Coutinho has also been tipped to move this summer, with Barcelona keen on the Brazil international.

The Spanish giants are expected to make a bumper bid for the 25-year-old after having an original £72m offer snubbed.

And Marcotti says Liverpool have the financial power to keep Coutinho as well as landing Keita.

"We're still talking a tremendous amount of money and I think ultimately from Liverpool's perspective, if we get into the situation with Neymar, Coutinho, whatever, the question is do you sacrifice Coutinho to get Keita?" Marcotti said on ESPN FC.

"As I understand it, in terms of money, they are in a position where they can (sign Keita and keep Coutinho).

"But if a spot opens up at Barcelona and Coutinho might decide 'listen I'd really like to go there'.

"It's part of the reason they've got all these frontmen now, because they've added (Mohamed) Salah to (Roberto) Firmino and (Sadio) Mane and (Daniel) Sturridge and (Dominic) Solanke and whatever.

"Part of it is because it gives them a bit of insurance in case Coutinho does move."
