Manchester United are closing in on Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic.

That’s according to The Independent’s chief football writer Miguel Delaney.

Starsport understands Jose Mourinho is desperate to wrap up a move for the Croatia winger, 28, as soon as possible.

And Delaney says the United boss is set to land his man in the near future.

He tweeted: "Perisic now very close. Will be good signing.

"Crosses the ball almost five times more than United's current wingers - needed with Lukaku!"

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to reject an offer from LA Galaxy in hope of landing a deal with the Red Devils.

The Sun say the superstar Swede will train at Carrington when he recovers from his knee ligament injury.

Ibrahimovic, 35, hopes to return before Christmas and plans to impress again under Mourinho.

And the former Barcelona star has made his intentions clear by rejecting LA Galaxy's £6m-a-year contract offer.

Teddy Sheringham says Romelu Lukaku will have to change his game after joining United.

The Everton talisman completed his £75m move to Old Trafford earlier this week, snubbing Chelsea.

And Sheringham says Lukaku will have to adapt to life at a top club.

"It's a funny one playing for top teams," the United hero told talkSPORT.

"When you play for the big teams, the top six teams, other teams come and camp in their own half and there isn't any space in behind for you to come in and run into, using those big strong legs and body.

"It's all a little bit more intricate. It will be very interesting to see how Lukaku gets on there. He will have to change his game a little bit.

"He's not the best at holding the ball up, but he's still a young man and he'll have to learn to change his game and play for top club."
