The Atletico Madrid ace is wanted by Jose Mourinho and has confirmed his agents are talking with his current club.

Griezmann was in fine form this season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions.

He told Minuto 0: “I’m fine at my club.

“My agents are taking with Atletico, so we'll see what happens.

“I’m going to make a decision this summer. As I said, I'm happy here. I've talked with my coach, Koke and [Diego] Godin.

“It's in the hands of the president. We'll see what happens.”

United are desperate to strengthen their side this summer as they prepare for a return to the Champions League.

Mourinho’s side will also want to challenge in the Premier League after a disappointing campaign which saw them finish in sixth this time around.

Griezmann’s comments will both encourage and concern United.

On the one hand he is talking to the club about his future, but on the other he seems to be happy at Atletico.

Just yesterday The Independent claimed Griezmann had told Atletico he wanted to leave.

However, for any deal to be done United would have to meet the 26-year-old’s £87m release clause.
