Manchester United are said to be very keen on the forward who is widely expected to leave Real Madrid this summer.

He’s been disappointed by a lack of game time under Zinedine Zidane this year after rejoining Madrid from Juventus in the summer.

Chelsea's Antonio Conte remains a big fan of the Spain international and signed him for Juve before leaving to take charge of Italy.

AC Milan are also interested and Morata was thought to be leaning towards a move back to Italy.

But Spanish outlet OkDiario now say the forward’s head has been turned by Mourinho.

The United boss has spoken to Morata and promised to make him the best No.9 on the planet, the report claims.

OkDiario add that Morata is 100 per cent committed to leaving Real ahead of next summer’s World Cup in Russia.

Morata wants to be playing regularly to guarantee his spot in Spain’s squad.

United are desperate to bring in attacking reinforcements over the summer with Antoine Griezmann another key target.

He is said to have told Atletico Madrid he wants to leave the club this summer.
