Lazio are considering a January bid for Chelsea flop Papy Djilobodji.

Senegalese defender Djilobodji arrived at Stamford Bridge on deadline day after Chelsea gave up their pursuit of John Stones.

But he’s been given just one appearance for the club, in their 4-1 Capital One Cup win over Walsall in September.

And his miserable time in west London could soon be over, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting Lazio could launch a loan bid for the player in January.

Manchester United have joined the chase for Swiss sensation Breel Embolo.

The Basle striker is wanted by London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham.

But The Sun now claim United have thrown their hat into the ring too by sending a scout to watch the £15m-rated man in action.

Wolfsburg and Juventus are said to be in the running for the 18-year-old, but they are unlikely to be able to match the Premier League clubs' spending power.

WANTED: Liverpool are eyeing Guillaume Hubert

Liverpool want Standard Liege goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert in January, reports the Guardian.

Swansea are also keen on the Belgium Under-21 international.

Hubert is understood to be available for £600,000 when the transfer window reopens.
