The Independent's sources in Spain and Manchester believe Real Madrid are confident of completing the signing of De Gea today after a saga that has lasted all summer.

Holland keeper Jasper Cillessen could be set to join United from Ajax, according to Daily Telegraph reporter Mark Ogden.
The journalist spoke on radio station SIRIUS FM saying a deal could be in place for the keeper to move to the Red Devils.
